The Link, September 2025 – Celebrating Women in Payments

We are hosting a ‘Spring Fling’ afternoon gathering of The Link event on Thursday, 25 September, to kick off spring by celebrating and catching up with the incredible women in our network.

We’re pleased to have Dr Alia Bojilova join us as our guest speaker, who will share her insights on the essential tools we need for building resilience in our busy lives.

Guest speaker

Dr Alia Bojilova (1)

Dr Alia Bojilova

Dr Alia Bojilova is a registered psychologist with a focus on resilience. She grew up in Eastern Europe during some of the most tumultuous times in recent history before immigrating to New Zealand at age 17. During her service with the New Zealand Defence Force she worked as Lead Psychologist and Officer with the SAS. While serving as a UN military observer in Syria, Alia negotiated her own release and the release of her team after they were taken hostage. She is the author of ‘The Resilience Toolkit’. Alia says the book weaves in powerful reflections, essential tools and narratives from remarkable humans who have captured the essence of resilience, authentically. Alia believes the book is about the sort of resilience we need now and into our future. She wants to help readers build broader and stronger resilience, irrespective of their baseline.
